Background and Objective: The goal of this research is to better understand the link between maternal obesity risk for problems during pregnancy. To learn how prenatal body mass index correlates with labor outcomes. study examine BMI affects health newborn. Method: This prospective observational was performed by Department OBG, Surabhi Institute Medical Sciences, Siddipet, Telangana, India, January 2021 October on a total 200 pregnant women singleton, healthy pregnancies who were booked at PSG Hospital within first 12 weeks Result: In study, participants' ages ranged from 18 40. study's participants had an average age 25. sample population, there 46.2% multiparas 53.8% nulliparas. Nine percent preterm, whereas ninety-two full-term patients. One-seventh subjects gained 0–7 kg in weight. 53 acquired 8 13 or more More than 25% put kg. Conclusion: negative effects pregnancy may be measured thanks research. significance lies fact that it among few possibility variety outcomes patient both extremely high low BMI.
